According to our Statute, the Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies is run and managed by a Board of Directors; this board is deciding on the annual budget of revenues and expenditures, is approving educational and research projects, issues related to the staff of the institute, and is overseeing the use of the entire heritage (library, archives and collections) owned by the Institute.

Attila Gidó has a PhD in Jewish Studies from the Babeș‒Bolyai University of Cluj in co-guardianship with the Eötvös Lóránd University, Department of Assyriology and Hebrew from Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Gidó is head of department at the Institute for Studying the Problems of National Minorities in Romania based in Cluj, author and editor of several volumes and scholar studies. His main research area is the history of the Transylvanian Jewry and genealogy.
